Job summary

Heartland Dental’s Dental Care at Lake Dow is hiring a Full-Time Hygiene Assistant to help launch a brand-new practice. You’ll work closely with a Hygienist to deliver excellent patient care and a seamless experience in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM), no weekends, and a growth-oriented path with benefits and training from day one.

Qualifications

• GA X-Ray Certification preferred.
• Dental Assistant certifications are a plus.
• Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude.
• Passion for patient care and learning.
• Open to training the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and ensure comfort; provide education during treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Assist hygienists during procedures with skilled support.
• Set up rooms for hygiene visits; stock and restock instruments.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms adhering to safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
