Job summary

Coastal Kids Dental and Braces - Mt Pleasant is seeking a Dental Hygiene Assistant to support pediatric hygiene care, room setup, charting, x-rays, education, and sterilization. Join a friendly team dedicated to quality care for children and their families.

The ideal candidate will hold X-ray certification, enjoy working with kids, and demonstrate strong communication, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced dental office.

Qualifications

• X-ray certification required.
• Coronal polishing certification a plus.
• Experience with digital charting preferred.
• Back office dental experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hygiene care including room setup and breakdown.
• Take and chart patient information, and assist with x-rays.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-visit care.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control.

As a Dental Hygiene Assistant with Coastal Kids Dental and Braces - Mt Pleasant, you will play a vital role in ensuring children have lifetime of beautiful smiles! If you have a heart for children, and enjoy working with a fun team of like-minded professionals dedicated to quality care, we would love to meet you! The Hygiene Assistant is responsible for assisting with all hygiene care including room set up and breakdown, charting, x-rays, patient education, and sterilization.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday 715a - 430p, Friday 715a - 330p, and some Saturdays

Key Skills for this role include

• Coronal Polishing Certificate and X-ray Certification are a plus
• Working knowledge and experience with dental digital charting
• Back office dental experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, take direction and be a flexible team player
