Coastal Kids Dental & Braces is seeking a Dental Hygiene Assistant to support pediatric hygiene care, including room setup, charting, X-rays, patient education and sterilization. The ideal candidate has X-ray certification, dental experience preferred, and demonstrates excellent communication, reliability and a team-oriented mindset to help children achieve healthy smiles.

As a Dental Hygiene Assistant with Coastal Kids Dental & Braces, you will play a vital role in ensuring children have lifetime of beautiful smiles! The Hygiene Assistant is responsible for assisting with all hygiene care including room set up and breakdown, charting, x-rays, patient education, and sterilization.

Requirements

Xray certification

Dental experience preferred

Schedule: Mon - Fri 7:15 am - 4:30 pm Sat 7:45 am -12pm (once a month)

Key Skills for this role include:

• Coronal Polishing Certificate and X-ray Certification are a plus
• Working knowledge and experience with dental digital charting
• Back office dental experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, take direction and be a flexible team player
