Job summary

Coastal Kids Dental and Braces - Mt Pleasant is seeking a Dental Hygiene Assistant to support pediatric dental care. You will assist with hygiene procedures, room setup, charting, x-rays, patient education, and sterilization to maintain a clean and efficient practice.

The role requires X-ray certification; Coronal Polishing certification is a plus. The clinic offers a collaborative team environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Xray Certification is required.
• Coronal Polishing Certificate is a plus.
• Experience with dental digital charting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all hygiene care including room setup and breakdown.
• Perform charting, x-rays, patient education and sterilization.

As a Dental Hygiene Assistant with Coastal Kids Dental and Braces - Mt Pleasant, you will play a vital role in ensuring children have lifetime of beautiful smiles! If you have a heart for children, and enjoy working with a fun team of like-minded professionals dedicated to quality care, we would love to meet you! The Hygiene Assistant is responsible for assisting with all hygiene care including room set up and breakdown, charting, x-rays, patient education, and sterilization.

Requirements:

Xray Certification

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 715a - 430p, Friday 715a - 330p, and some Saturdays

Key Skills for this role include:

• Coronal Polishing Certificate and X-ray Certification are a plus
• Working knowledge and experience with dental digital charting
• Ability to multi-task, take direction and be a flexible team player
