Job summary

Coastal Kids Dental and Braces in Mt Pleasant, SC seeks a Dental Hygiene Assistant to support pediatric hygiene care. Responsibilities include room setup/breakdown, charting, X-rays, patient education and sterilization, with emphasis on teamwork and quality care.

The ideal candidate has X-ray certification, coronal polishing is a plus, strong communication skills, and a detail-oriented, flexible approach. Some Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

• X-ray Certification required.
• Coronal Polishing certification a plus.
• Experience with dental digital charting preferred.
• Back office dental experience desired.
• Excellent communication skills essential.
• Ability to multi-task and be a flexible team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hygiene care including room setup and breakdown.
• Perform charting and taking X-rays.
• Provide patient education and confirm understanding.

As a Dental Hygiene Assistant with Coastal Kids Dental and Braces - Mt Pleasant, you will play a vital role in ensuring children have lifetime of beautiful smiles! The Hygiene Assistant is responsible for assisting with all hygiene care including room set up and breakdown, charting, x-rays, patient education, and sterilization.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday 715a - 430p, Friday 715a - 330p, and some Saturdays

Key Skills for this role include

• Coronal Polishing Certificate and X-ray Certification are a plus.
