Metro Park Dental Arts, a Heartland Dental Supported Practice and a "Growing Patient-Focused Doctor Office" in Rogers, Arkansas, is looking to add a Full-Time Hygiene Assistant to join our team. Our office is a fun place to work, and we're like family. This is a very busy multi-provider office, so candidates must be able to thrive in this environment.

This role is ideal for someone with little to no dental experience to join a world-class organization that offers comprehensive training. Our on-the-job training provides extensive hands-on dental experience and helps develop your assisting skills with a company that values ongoing development and career growth. You will work alongside our exceptional hygiene providers to deliver top patient care to our community.

More about the role:

• Greet and assist patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education during treatment.
• Review patient health histories to support quality care.
• Assist hygienists during procedures in accordance with state laws.
• Prepare and restock treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Collaborate with team to optimize workflow.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Dental Assistant Permit/License
• X-Ray Certification
• Ability to handle PHI responsibly, with HIPAA training required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Adaptability, sense of urgency, and deadline management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
• Prolonged sitting and standing.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Availability for periodic virtual or in-person training.
