Work Schedule

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM, split between our Libbie Mill and Richmond locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the hygienist with clinical and administrative duties, including preparing patients for procedures or exams, sterilizing instruments, setting up trays, preparing materials, and assisting during dental procedures.
• Support all dental hygiene procedures, including taking directions from the doctor or hygienist, performing oral evaluations, taking and developing X-rays, and handling laboratory duties.
• Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow safety procedures in compliance with OSHA and practice standards.
• Assist with sterilization and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Dental assistant certification (required).
• X-ray certification (required).
• Nitrous oxide certification (preferred).
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training.
• Experience with relevant dental software.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
