Sienna Dental is seeking a Hygiene Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with little to no dental experience, as we offer comprehensive on-the-job training to develop your skills and knowledge. You will work alongside experienced hygiene providers to deliver excellent patient care and gain valuable dental experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education during treatment.
• Review patient health histories to support quality care.
• Assist hygienists during procedures in accordance with state dental laws.
• Prepare treatment rooms, including stocking supplies.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; additional certification may be required based on state.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and data protection awareness.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations.
• Prolonged sitting and standing.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Availability for periodic virtual or in-person training.
• TB test required prior to employment (excluding FL & TN).
