Job summary

Wave Dental Specialists Atlanta PC is seeking a Hygiene Assistant to join our brand-new multispecialty clinic in Buckhead. This full-time role runs Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with full benefits.

You will assist the hygienist, take dental X‑rays, prepare treatment rooms, and support patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative setting with modern technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience.
• Proficiency taking dental X-rays (bitewings and full-mouth).
• Must meet Georgia dental assisting and radiography requirements.
• EFDA credentials are a plus.
• Experience with Open Dental and iTero preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dental hygienist with daily clinical procedures and patient care.
• Confidently take dental X-rays, including bitewings and full-mouth series.
• Prepare and turnover hygiene treatment rooms.
• Assist with periodontal charting and clinical documentation.
• Support the hygienist during examinations and treatment.
• Assist with iTero digital scanning as needed.
• Utilize Open Dental for patient records and documentation.
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards.

Wave Dental Specialists Atlanta is looking for a motivated, dependable Hygiene Assistant to join our growing team at our brand-new, state-of-the-art multi specialty clinic in the heart of Buckhead.

This is a full-time, four-day-per-week position working Tuesday through Friday, with a consistent daytime schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

You’ll work closely with our dental hygienist while also being part of a collaborative multispecialty team. If you’re confident taking X-rays, enjoy working directly with patients, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment, we’d love to meet you

Schedule & Office Hours

• Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Saturday: Closed
• Sunday: Closed
• Monday: Closed
• Full-time, 4 days per week
