East Cobb Family Dentistry in Marietta, GA is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant for a 24-hour, 3-day workweek with full-time benefits. You will support chairside procedures, take X-rays, and help maintain a fast-paced, patient-focused practice.

The role requires at least 2 years of dental assisting experience, Open Dental/iTero familiarity, and valid X-ray certification. This position offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Experience with Open Dental preferred.
• Experience with iTero preferred.
• CPR & First Aid certification required.
• Valid X-ray certificate required; CDA/RDA/EFDA licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures.
• Anticipate the doctor's needs and assist efficiently throughout treatment.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Prepare and turn over treatment rooms.
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards.
• Assist with digital workflows and scanning.
• Fabricate temporary crowns.
• Assist with implants and clear aligner treatment.
• Educate patients and create an excellent patient experience.
• Work closely with the clinical team to keep the schedule running smoothly.

Dental Assistant – East Cobb Family Dentistry

Marietta, GA

$20–$27/hour | 3-Day Workweek | Full-Time Benefits | Bonus Opportunities

Looking for a 3-day workweek without giving up full-time benefits? East Cobb Family Dentistry is looking for an experienced, energetic Dental Assistant to join our growing team.

This position is 24 hours per week, primarily Monday through Wednesday, and qualifies for our full-time benefits package. Some Saturdays may also be available for team members interested in additional hours.

Schedule

• 3 days per week / approximately 24 hours per week
• Primarily Monday through Wednesday
• Some Saturdays available
• Full-time benefits eligibility at 24 hours per week

Office Hours

• Monday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience
• Strong chairside and clinical assisting skills
• Experience with Open Dental preferred
• Experience with iTero preferred
• Implant assisting experience is a plus
• Clear aligner experience is a plus
• Ability to fabricate temporary crowns preferred
• Dependable, energetic, and team-oriented
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced dental practice
