Job summary

Wave Dental Specialists Atlanta is seeking a motivated Hygiene Assistant for a four-day, full-time schedule in our brand-new multispecialty clinic in Buckhead, GA. You will work closely with the hygienist, perform X-rays, and support a collaborative team in a busy clinical setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, GA radiography credentials, and strong communication skills. EFDA is a plus; Open Dental and iTero experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience.
• Strong confidence and proficiency taking dental X-rays.
• Must meet Georgia dental assisting and radiography requirements.
• EFDA credentials are a plus.
• Experience with Open Dental preferred.
• Experience with iTero preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment.
• Dependable, positive, and team-oriented.
• Passion for patient care and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dental hygienist with daily clinical procedures and patient care
• Confidently take dental X-rays, including bitewings and full-mouth series
• Prepare and turn over hygiene treatment rooms
• Assist with periodontal charting and clinical documentation
• Support the hygienist during examinations and treatment
• Assist with iTero digital scanning as needed
• Utilize Open Dental for patient records and documentation
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards

Tuesday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:00 PM | Full Benefits | Brand-New Multispecialty Practice

Wave Dental Specialists Atlanta is looking for a motivated, dependable Hygiene Assistant to join our growing team at our brand-new, state-of-the-art multi specialty clinic in the heart of Buckhead.

This is a full-time, four-day-per-week position working Tuesday through Friday, with a consistent daytime schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

You’ll work closely with our dental hygienist while also being part of a collaborative multispecialty team. If you’re confident taking X-rays, enjoy working directly with patients, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment, we’d love to meet you

• Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Saturday: Closed
• Sunday: Closed
• Monday: Closed
• Full-time, 4 days per week
