Job summary

The Center for Advanced Dentistry in Suwanee, GA is seeking an experienced Full-Time Hygiene Assistant to support dentists and hygienists, prepare treatment rooms, and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hygiene assisting experience.
• Knowledge and experience with Dentrix.
• Accuracy and confidence performing FMX.
• Experience with coronal polishing.
• Strong understanding of periodontal charting.
• Knowledge of Zoom Whitening.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative dental team.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and hygienists during procedures while preparing treatment rooms and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Supervise and mentor dental assistant team members, assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed.
• Manage patient scheduling, records, and insurance claims processing.
• Maintain strict sterilization and infection-control protocols in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and order dental supplies as needed.
• Participate in quality-assurance activities and ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with patients, answer questions, schedule appointments, and follow up on treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

• Monday: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
