Job summary

Superior Hydrovac seeks a Hydrovac Swamper to join a dedicated crew performing hydro excavation in residential and commercial settings. You will assist in exposing utilities, debris removal, slot trenching, and digging under the supervision of the crew lead.

You will ensure safety, inspect procedures, and complete paperwork on schedule while performing daily excavation tasks and equipment checks. This role requires physical stamina and teamwork in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of manual laboring experience preferred.
• Standard Driver License required.

Responsibilities

• Hydro excavation tasks: expose utilities, remove debris, trench and dig as part of the crew.
• Supervise Hydrovac Swamper activities to ensure skill development.
• Set up and inspect grounding/bonding procedures for Hydrovac operations.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Daily vacuum excavation tasks: potholing, pole holes, trench work, exposing utilities.
