Job summary

Superior Hydrovac is seeking a Hydrovac Swamper to join a crew responsible for hydro excavation in residential and commercial areas. You will work on underground utilities, perform debris removal, and assist with trenching and exposure tasks as part of a team.

The role requires ability to perform heavy manual labor, lift up to 80 lbs, and follow written and oral instructions. A valid driver’s license and background checks are required; safety and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of manual laboring experience preferred.
• Standard Driver License required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for hydro excavation projects including utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching, and digging.
• Supervise activities of Hydrovac Swamper to ensure skill development.
• Set up and inspect grounding and bonding procedures for Hydrovac operation.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Perform daily vacuum excavation tasks and potholing of utilities.
• Expose existing underground utilities for new placement and maintenance.
