Job summary

Superior Hydrovac is seeking a Hydrovac Swamper to join our crew for residential and commercial underground utility work. You will perform hydro excavation tasks, expose utilities, and support the crew in daily operations.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of manual labor experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. The role requires physical stamina and teamwork in a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of manual labor experience preferred.
• Standard Driver License required.
• Candidates must pass criminal and MVR background checks and a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Complete hydro excavation projects including utility line exposure, debris removal, trenching, and digging.
• Supervise Hydrovac Swamper activities to ensure skill development.
• Set up and inspect grounding/bonding procedures for Hydrovac operations.
• Complete all required paperwork properly and on time.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Carry out daily vacuum excavation tasks and potholing of utilities for HDD work.
• Expose existing underground utilities for new placement and maintenance work.
