Superior Hydrovac is seeking a Hydrovac Swamper to join a crew responsible for hydro excavation on residential and commercial sites, focusing on underground utilities and daily task completion with the team.

Responsibilities include exposure of utilities, debris removal, trenching, and ensuring grounding and bonding procedures are properly set up and inspected. The role requires strong physical endurance and teamwork in various environments.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of manual labor experience preferred.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State Driver’s License within two weeks of employment.
• Candidates must pass criminal and MVR background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• English usage sufficient to keep records, place orders, and prepare simple narrative reports.

Responsibilities

• Complete hydro excavation tasks including utility exposure, debris removal, trenching, and digging.
• Supervise Hydrovac Swamper activities to support skill development.
• Set up and inspect grounding and bonding procedures for Hydrovac operation.
• Complete all required paperwork properly and within set timelines.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Expose underground utilities for HDD work and related trenching tasks.
• Support pole holes, anchors, and trench work for divisions.
