Job summary

Superior Hydrovac is seeking a Hydrovac Operator in Missouri to join our turnkey hydro excavation team. You will operate hydrovac trucks, expose utilities, and maintain safety standards on site.

Candidate must have a Class A CDL with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement and at least 1 year of related experience or training. Responsibilities include inspections, paperwork, and supporting crew safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic underground utilities and how they interact with excavation.
• Experience operating hydrovac equipment and heavy trucks safely and efficiently.
• Willingness to perform pre/post-trip inspections and daily maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Complete hydro excavation projects including utility line exposure, debris removal, trenching and digging.
• Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment safely and professionally.
• Supervise Hydrovac Laborers to support skill development and ensure quality work.
• Set up and inspect grounding/bonding procedures for Hydrovac operations.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Potholing and exposing utilities for HDD work; prepare sites for new placement.
