Job summary

Superior Hydrovac seeks a Hydrovac Operator to perform hydro excavation with precision and a strong safety focus. You will operate hydro vacuum trucks, expose utilities, and support field teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols, efficient work practices, and reliable documentation. The ideal candidate has a Class A CDL with Air Brake and Tanker endorsements and at least 1 year of related experience or training.

Qualifications

• Experience operating hydro excavation equipment is preferred.
• Must have Class A CDL with Air Brake and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Experience working in confined spaces and with utility exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Supervise activities of Hydrovac Laborers to support skill development.
• Set up and inspect grounding and bonding procedures for Hydrovac operations.
• Complete required paperwork promptly and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Perform daily vacuum excavation tasks including potholing and trench work.
• Expose utilities for new placement and maintenance while maintaining safety.
