Superior Hydrovac in Kansas City seeks a Hydrovac Swamper to join a crew handling residential and commercial hydro excavation projects. You will expose underground utilities, perform potholing and trenching, and support overall jobsite safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include supervising teammates, ensuring ground and bonding procedures, completing required paperwork, and maintaining equipment. Strong physical endurance and a safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of manual laboring experience preferred.
• Standard Driver License required.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Hydrovac Swamper will work as part of a crew responsible for hydro excavation projects in residential and commercial areas.
• Supervise activities of Hydrovac Swamper to ensure skill development.
• Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for Hydrovac operation.
• Complete all required paperwork properly and within timelines.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Perform daily hydro excavation tasks: potholing, trenching, and exposing utilities.
