Job summary

Superior Hydrovac in Texas seeks a Hydrovac Swamper to perform hydro excavation tasks in residential and commercial areas. You will work with a crew to expose utilities, remove debris, trench, and dig, while ensuring safety and quality of work.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of manual labor experience preferred.
• Standard Driver License is required.
• Willingness to learn additional skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete hydro excavation tasks including utility line exposure, debris removal, trenching, and digging.
• SuperviseHydrovac activities to support skill development.
• Set up and inspect grounding procedures for Hydrovac operation.
• Complete all required paperwork properly and within timelines.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Perform daily vacuum excavation tasks (potholing, pole holes, trench work).
• Expose existing underground utilities for new placement and maintenance.
