Job summary

Peak Utility Services Group in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Hydrovac Operations Supervisor to lead daily field activities, coordinate crews, and ensure safety and quality standards across projects.

You will manage work orders, documentation, and client communications while mentoring a diverse team and driving efficiency, schedule adherence, and cost control in a fast-paced environmental/utility setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in the Underground Utility Industry.
• Experience overseeing multiple crews.
• Must pass criminal and MVR background checks and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute day-to-day operations of the departments under supervision.
• Optimize and manage work hours of employees and assets.
• Provide feedback to management on critical issues.
• Ensure safety, quality, training, and standards are met for the company and clients.
• Perform weekly field audits on crews.
• Inspect equipment and tools daily and ensure proper walk-around checks.
• Complete all paperwork required by company and clients.
• Develop leadership and maintain a motivated workforce.
• Administer fleet policies and optimize vehicle utilization.
• Keep yard/material storage areas organized.
• Participate in industry forums to stay updated on direction and technologies.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, safety, quality, and cost.
• Mentor, coach, and discipline department employees for performance.
