Job summary

Superior Hydrovac seeks a detail-oriented Hydrovac Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day field and office activities, coordinating with utility owners, general contractors, and clients through all phases of main and service utility work. You will manage documentation, scheduling, and performance against corporate goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• 3–5 years in the Underground Utility Industry.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Possession of a valid State Driver's License required within two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of departments under supervision and optimize staff/asset hours.
• Proactively provide feedback to Management on critical issues.
• Ensure safety, quality, training and standards are met for all clients.
• Perform weekly field audits on each crew and daily equipment checks.
• Ensure daily completion of required paperwork.
• Develop leadership and maintain a multi-functional, well-trained workforce.
• Administer fleet policies and optimize vehicle utilization and cost.
• Order and track materials and supplies for day-to-day tasks.
• Keep yard/storage areas clear and organized daily.
• Engage in industry forums to stay updated on trends and technologies.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, safety, quality, and cost.
• Mentor and coach department employees for higher performance.
