Smith Industries, LLC is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Hydro Bay Tester to support hydrostatic pressure testing operations in shop and field environments. The successful candidate will assist with various hydrostatic testing tasks, ensuring adherence to safety procedures while maintaining organization and documentation.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, monitoring, and breakdown of hydrostatic testing equipment.
• Connect hoses, pumps, gauges, manifolds, and test components.
• Fill, bleed, monitor, and drain systems per procedure.
• Support test documentation and post-test cleaning.
• Load/unload equipment and maintain hydro bay organization.
• Inspect hoses and components for damage.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain proper PPE and exclusion zones.
