Job summary

SPX Technologies in New York is seeking a Technical Training Manager to deliver advanced technical training for regional sales teams, distributors, and contractors. You will train new sales staff, provide field technical support, and update training for new products and revisions.

You will travel upwards of 50% and collaborate across product management, engineering, and training teams to ensure accurate, impactful content.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience with mechanical and electrical boiler installations.
• Five years of related hydronics industry and/or field sales experience.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM tools for data capture and reporting.
• Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical training expertise within region.
• Develop and conduct complex technical product seminars for contractors, distributors, utilities, engineers, and field personnel.
• Facilitate the sales process via lead generation and accelerating opportunities.
• Move leads from training through the sales funnel.
• Coordinate with Product Management, Technical Service, and Engineering on product changes and training content.
• Design and develop Weil-McLain School of Better Heating training modules and materials.
