Havtech, a leading HVAC solutions provider in the Mid-Atlantic, seeks a Hydronics Sales Engineer in Norfolk, VA. You will drive hydronic and steam system projects, manage contractor, engineer, and owner accounts, and deliver innovative steam-powered heating solutions.

The role emphasizes building long-term customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and coordinating with engineering partners to select and price hydronic equipment. This is a full-time on-site position with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction or Engineering Technology, or related fields.
• Excellent customer relations skills.
• Marketing & market planning knowledge.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC industry, specifically Hydronics systems.
• Ability to travel at least 20% of the time.
• Ability to function independently and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Identify key hydronic equipment selection in collaboration with engineering partners.
• Grow identified accounts using the account management process.
• Develop plans to expand current and new customers.
• Convert leads into opportunities with the defined sales process.
• Build relationships with multiple buying influencers in customer organizations.
• Gather information through site walks or plan reviews to determine project needs.
• Develop solutions and preliminary project fulfillment schedules.
• Prepare and review proposals, pricing, and strategy.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with customers and transition to operations.
• Provide annual forecasts and account business activity reporting.
