Job summary

Spheros Environmental in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Hydrogeologist – Water Resource and Permitting to support groundwater supply projects across Arizona. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in geology, hydrogeology, environmental/earth science, or a related field (required)
2–6 years of direct experience in hydrogeology, water resources, or environmental consulting
Arizona Registered Geologist (RG) or pursuing certification is a plus
Strong knowledge of groundwater permitting and regulatory frameworks is expected
Experience with well construction, aquifer testing, and field data analysis is desirable
Excellent technical writing and communication skills required

Responsibilities

Coordinate with multidisciplinary team for GIS, modeling, and data analysis
Organize, evaluate, and analyze hydrogeologic data from fieldwork and public datasets
Analyze aquifer test data, water level data, and lab analyses for reports
Assist in development of hydrogeologic models and geospatial data visualization
Prepare technical reports and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
