Job summary

Tobe Energy is building isothermal electrolyzers in a hands-on startup setting in Oklahoma City. You will assemble, wire, test, and iterate prototype cells and test stands, while learning across electrochemistry, power electronics, fabrication, and test engineering with the founders.

We value a self-starter who can read schematics, use a multimeter/oscilloscope, and adapt quickly as priorities shift. Degree is not required, and safety is emphasized in daily work.

Qualifications

• Degree not required; must be hands-on and self-driven.
• Ability to read schematics and use a multimeter/oscilloscope.
• Willingness to adapt in a fast-changing startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test prototype electrolyzer cells, stacks, and test stands.
• Wire and troubleshoot electrical systems; distribution, sensors, data acquisition.
• Run experiments, log data carefully, and diagnose issues.
• Fabricate parts with 3D printing and light machining.
• Diagnose failures and propose fixes; maintain shop safety and organization.
• Support inventory, vendor calls, packing a demo unit, and day-to-day tasks.
