Plug Power Inc. seeks a Commissioning & Maintenance Specialist to commission, troubleshoot, and repair hydrogen infrastructure, electrolyzers, and stationary equipment at customer sites.

Heavy travel up to 100% and on-call readiness are required to ensure continuous hydrogen production. The role emphasizes safety, cross-functional communication, and the ability to improve electrolyzer designs based on field data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in electrical, industrial, or mechanical maintenance.
• Associate degree or vocational degree preferred; or 2 extra years experience.
• Travel up to 100% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, test and commission Plug Power products.
• Lead high-level service repair projects on hydrogen infrastructure and systems.
• Provide training to first responders, customers, and service personnel.
• Interpret electrical wiring schematics and perform safety-focused testing.
• Document test results and track project tasks to completion.
