Job summary

Plug Power in Woodbine, GA is seeking a Hydrogen Technician to perform installation, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of facility equipment in the Hydrogen Plant. This role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with pumps, compressors and valves, maintain records, coordinate with the System Controls Operator, and support continuous improvement efforts to improve reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational education/training preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain Hazmat/Tanker certs.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environment helpful.
• Read and follow SOPs with strong safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment and machines.
• Fill out maintenance records and documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with System Controls Operator for compressor operations.
• Diagnose equipment problems and perform repairs as needed.
• Prepare high-pressure/cryogenic trailers for filling and yard shuttle tasks.
• Maintain safe work environment in compliance with procedures and regulations.
• Support quality and efficiency improvements and team collaboration.
