Job summary

FirstElement Fuel is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee the assembly and testing of hydrogen cryo-pump and refueling modules in California. The role starts hands-on with one direct report and expands as the line ramps up, focusing on quality, traceability and efficient production.

You will interpret engineering drawings, supervise a small team, and ensure documentation and compliance with GMP-like quality systems while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience in technical manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow assembly instructions.
• Strong leadership and hands-on supervision skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel; ERP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assembling and testing of hydrogen cryo-pump and refueling modules.
• Lead one employee initially and scale the line as it ramps up.
• Ensure traceability and documentation of assembly and test processes.
• Maintain safe, clean production area and compliance with GMP/quality systems.
