Appalachian Power Co. is seeking a License & Compliance Coordinator to support permitting, compliance, and coordination across multiple hydroelectric projects.

The role involves interpreting regulatory requirements, conducting field inspections, and communicating with regulatory agencies and stakeholders. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a natural science or related field and 1–3 years in regulatory compliance or environmental permitting.

Qualificações

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer use.
• Ability to work independently in field and office environments.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with review, processing, and interpretation of communications with regulatory agencies.
• Help ensure activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assist with maintaining records to demonstrate license compliance.
• Assist with on-site inspections of project properties to assess compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors on compliance-related projects under FERC licenses.
