Bay West in Saint Paul, MN is hiring a Hydroblaster Apprentice to support refinery operations. The paid apprenticeship offers on‑the‑job training and progression with pay increases as you gain experience. You will operate vacuum trucks and hydro blasters while ensuring safety and quality service in a refinery setting.

No prior experience is required as Bay West will train the right candidate and setup you for success in this hands‑on role with certification maintenance and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Ability to obtain a CDL.
• Paid apprenticeship with training provided.

Responsibilities

• The Hydroblaster Apprentice supports Bay West projects by performing a variety of work, including operating vehicles and equipment within the refinery.
• Perform labor tasks associated with industrial cleaning (equipment set‑up, equipment operation, manual cleaning)
• Operate vacuum trucks, hydro blasters and other company equipment and vehicles
• Accurately perform pre‑trip and post trip, and report deficiencies daily
• Accurately track tasks and time performed on a daily basis
• Interact with customers and provide superior customer service during all activities
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
• Maintain and protect all equipment, keeping it in excellent condition
• Performing cleaning and maintenance for the oil and gas industry
• Perform confined space entry (CSE) while acting as both entrant and attendant
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations
• Operate and troubleshoot routinely used tools and equipment
