Job summary

Bay West is seeking a CDL Driver / Equipment Operator to join our team in Saint Paul, MN. You will operate vacuum trucks and other refinery support equipment, perform inspections, and support field crews during outages and turnarounds.

This is a hands-on role with safety and compliance at the forefront. Ideal candidates have a CDL (A or B), possess or obtain a HAZWOPER certificate, and can work varied shifts, including on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 5-7 years related experience
• CDL Class A or B required
• Active 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate helpful but provided to right candidate
• TWIC card or ability to obtain one
• Basic computer skills and ability to travel
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum trucks, roll-off trucks and other equipment
• Safely operate hazardous industrial equipment
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Label and manifest shipments per DOT regulations
• Maintain certifications and complete field documentation
• Support field crews in setup, execution, and breakdown
• Participate in pre-job safety meetings and JSAs
• Assist with refinery outages and turnaround projects
