Job summary

Voith Group's hydro division seeks a Sr. Site Manager to oversee on-site supervision and project management of hydro power plant equipment installations, upgrades, and maintenance.

You will lead planning, safety, quality, and budget adherence while coordinating with engineering and field teams. Responsibilities include detailed site work planning, leadership of erection and commissioning efforts, and maintaining strong client relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in site management or related field.
• Experience in hydroelectric or rotating machinery preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple systems (Generator, Turbine, E-BoP, M-BoP, structural/hydraulic) and large teams.

Responsibilities

• Single point accountability for site work planning and performance.
• Perform detailed planning of all site work and interfaces with support groups.
• Provide leadership in erection and commissioning of hydro equipment and systems.
• Meet safety, quality, cost, schedule and scope management goals.
• Maintain strong client relationships and communicate results with stakeholders.
• Identify and communicate additional sales opportunities with sales and project management.
• Interface with project management to ensure contractual obligations are met.
