Job summary

Voith US Inc. seeks an accomplished Head of Field Service, Site Management to lead strategic and operational site activities across hydropower projects in the United States and Canada.

You will drive site execution, mentor the Site Management team, ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to continuously improve practices. This role requires ten-plus years in project management and five-plus years in leadership, with travel across

Qualifications

• Experience working in a matrixed, international environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, structured and results-oriented leadership style.
• Experience to develop teams, manage resources and drive performance across multiple projects/locations.
• Fluency in English; French is an asset.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence by implementing department strategy, standards, processes, and tools consistently across the region.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Site Management team, ensuring team performance aligns with project and company goals.
• Oversee site execution, ensuring safe delivery in compliance with contractual requirements, HSE standards, project schedules, budgets, quality expectations, regulatory requirements, and Voith standards.
• Drive workforce and capacity planning by creating transparency on current and forecasted resource needs, maintaining a qualified pool of team members and optimizing staff allocation across the project portfolio.
• Monitor site performance through key performance indicators.
• Support bid and planning phases by ensuring site management requirements are properly considered.
• Promote a strong construction focus across the value chain and the project life cycle.
• Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to continuously improve site management practices, tools, and competencies.
