Job summary

Voith Group is hiring a Site Supervisor II for Ludington, Michigan to lead disassembly, installation and commissioning of hydro power plant Balance of Plant equipment. You will direct subcontractors and craft crews, plan scope, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence.

The role requires 5+ years in construction or hydro, capability to read blueprints, and strong job coordination across multiple teams, with a focus on safety and meeting contract requirements.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum of relevant experience in construction, hydro, or journeymen trades or significant relevant educational experience.
• Technical understanding of hydroelectric plant equipment or experience with rotating machinery, heavy manufacturing, or heavy construction.
• Ability to identify and mitigate safety risks and maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare assigned work scope and interfaces with support groups.
• Direct work to subcontractors and foreman and oversee execution.
• Ensure work conforms to drawings, specs, method statements, and project requirements.
• Interface with engineering and quality to clarify procedures and field data requirements.
