Job summary

Eagle Creek Renewable Energy LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support hydro power facilities, handling generation, water flow, trash raking, and related mechanical systems. You will own projects, troubleshoot field issues, perform calculations, design solutions, and create drawings.

You will oversee project execution on-site, coordinate with contractors, manage budgets, and drive safe, reliable operation across our portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with field troubleshooting and commissioning.
• Proficient in CAD and constructing drawings.
• Strong project management and vendor coordination.
• Willingness to travel ~30%.

Responsibilities

• Investigate operating issues and troubleshoot to root-cause.
• Manage project implementation, on-time and on-budget.
• Direct technical personnel and contractor resources.
• Obtain competitive quotes for project work.
• Design mechanical solutions for asset enhancement.
• Create drawings and manage fabricator/vendor relationships.
• Travel ~30% for supervision.
