Ameren Missouri is seeking a hydro plant operator to perform general power plant operations, electrical, mechanical and control systems tasks at our hydro facilities. The role involves direct work on SCADA, generator controls, and emergency procedures.

You will work a rotating or day schedule, operate and monitor equipment, document data, and maintain safety practices while supporting lake and river operations.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor the main electrical control system of hydro generating stations and associated substations.
• Start, stop, load and unload electrical equipment per directions from dispatch offices.
• Perform switching and corrective operations in emergencies affecting the plant or substations.
• Monitor SCADA and auxiliary equipment and initiate actions for abnormal conditions.
• Maintain logbooks, records, and housekeeping throughout the plant.
• Direct efforts to restore service and equipment in emergencies when supervision is absent.
