Responsibilities

• Operate the main electrical control system of the Hydro generating stations and associated substations.
• Start, stop, load and unload electrical equipment per Dispatcher directions.
• Conduct switching and corrective actions during emergencies.
• Assist or direct apprentices/trainees as needed.
• Monitor SCADA/indications and respond to abnormal conditions.
• Perform or direct protective switching and reporting for WPA on assigned equipment.
• Maintain logs and report operating data and conditions.
