Job summary

eaglecreekre is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support hydro power operations, oversee mechanical aspects of plants, and drive project execution from design to on-site supervision. You will troubleshoot field issues, develop CAD drawings and 3D models, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions while maintaining safety and on-time delivery.

The role requires hands-on field work, strong project management skills, and a passion for asset enhancement in a hydropower

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2–5 years of mechanical engineering experience.
Associates Degree with 5–7 years of experience.
High School Diploma with 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

Investigate operating issues at our facilities and troubleshoot to root-cause.
Manage project implementation and complete projects on-time and on-budget.
Direct company technical personnel and contractor resources to execute projects.
Obtain competitive quotes from multiple contractors to balance internal and external work.
Design mechanical solutions to respond to operating issues and asset enhancements.
Create drawings for designs and manage fabricator and vendor relationships.
Travel as required for project supervision and execution (~30%).
