Westmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician specializing in hydraulics to join our on-site team in Pennsylvania. You will maintain and repair hydraulic and mechanical systems across our advanced testing equipment and facilities.

The role offers hands-on work with hydraulic components, schematics, and diagnostic tools, with opportunities with safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives. Training is available for the right candidate.

Qualifikationen

• US Citizenship is strictly required for national defense and aerospace compliance.
• 1–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, equipment repair, and hydraulics preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced materials testing equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, manifolds, and servo-hydraulic systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair single-phase and three-phase motors and controls.
• Read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Utilize diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and software to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Perform equipment calibrations and verify system performance to ensure accurate testing results.
• Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and calibration documentation.
• Assist in equipment upgrades, reliability initiatives, and long-term maintenance solutions.
• Support a safety-first culture by following all company safety policies and procedures.
