Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation’s JLG division seeks a student engineer to support the Design Team in mechanical engineering tasks, gaining hands-on exposure to the design process, Creo CAD, and hydraulic systems for booms and scissors.

You will select parts, prepare layouts, read schematics, perform flow and pressure calculations, consult with suppliers and internal teams, and assist in testing—combining office work with field activities.

Qualifications

• Student working toward a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical or related engineering.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

Responsibilities

• Select parts or components for quality-conscious design (weight, cost, reliability, manufacturability).
• Prepare vehicle component layouts using Creo and other CAD software.
• Read and understand hydraulic schematics for boom and scissor models.
• Generate engineering calculations of flow, pressure, performance estimations, etc.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Engineering or related field

GPA 3.0 or above
