Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in the United States is seeking a Hydraulic Production Technician to assemble, test and inspect components in a manufacturing environment. You will follow engineering drawings, operate electrical and mechanical equipment, and maintain safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year assembly experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong teamwork and communication. Shift is 6:30 PM–3:00 PM. Benefits start day one, with a 401(k) match and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must possess the ability to use tools and equipment for assembly operations.
• Must have good listening and communication skills.
• Able to work well with others as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and inspect according to engineering drawings and test codes.
• Work with electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble equipment that does not pass the test.
• Maintain assembly and test equipment as required.
• Move material to and from the workstation by hand, cart, and crane; follow safety rules.
