Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a Foundation Brakes Production Technician to assemble, test, and inspect components per engineering drawings. The role requires 1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment, use of basic tools, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Must possess the ability to use tools and equipment that are needed to perform the assembly operations in an industrial setting.
• Must have good listening and communication skills.
• Able to work well with others to be a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and inspect according to engineering drawings and test codes.
• Work with electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble equipment that does not pass the test.
• Maintain assembly and test equipment as required.
• Move material to and from the workstation by hand, cart, and crane as required.
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
