Job summary

Bolthouse Fresh Foods in Bakersfield, CA is hiring a Hydraulic Technician to maintain, repair, and rebuild hydraulic pumps and related components in a shop environment. You will support the department Lead and Assistant Manager by performing maintenance and repairs on hydraulic equipment used in plant operations.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED with 1–3 years of related experience. Candidates with 5+ years in hydraulic maintenance and a strong safety record are preferred,

Qualifications

Basic or formal equipment industry training.
Strong problem-solving skills with hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, and rebuild hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, and related components.
Perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic equipment in plant operations.
Operate cranes and forklifts following safety guidelines.
Inspect equipment for damage, wear and hydraulic issues; document work.
