Job summary

BRT Extrusions Inc. in NILES, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep hydraulic presses and related systems running.

This role requires hands-on trouble‑shooting, repair of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to improve safety and efficiency. Candidate should have at least 2 years in a manufacturing maintenance setting, be willing to work 12‑hour shifts, and have strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in a maintenance manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication skills are a must.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts.
• Training and experience in PLCs is a plus.
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to machines with emphasis on hydraulic presses.
• Recommend modifications to improve safety, quality, or equipment operating parameters.
• Perform repairs and troubleshoot on machinery and hydraulic and other systems.
• Assist in repairing malfunctions in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance.
• Suggest changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
• Follow all company policies, including safety policies.
