Mountaineer Gas Company in Charleston, WV, is seeking an Engineer to join our Engineering team at the corporate office. The role involves building and updating hydraulic models, validating models against actual conditions, and supporting distribution system planning.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Engineering, experience with design models and GIS data, proficiency in Excel/Word, and willingness to travel. Knowledge of Synergi Gas, ArcGIS, and SQL is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline is required.
• Experience with design models, pipeline hydraulics, and pipe/equipment sizing is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to travel with overnight stays as required.

Responsabilités

• Build/update hydraulic models to reflect facility changes and customer loads; validate models using real system measurements.
• Conduct analyses or projects to improve modeling and hydraulic system planning.
• Review validated models with engineering and operations to ensure accuracy and buy-in.
• Perform Lost and Unaccounted For (LUAF) gas analysis.
