Mountaineer Gas Company is seeking a Manager, IT Geospatial Systems to lead the GIS platform strategy, oversee SDLC governance, and drive IT geospatial solutions for West Virginia's gas distribution network.

You will manage a team of GIS professionals, coordinate with Procurement and IT PMO on contracts and budgets, and guide platform upgrades, data governance, and enterprise integration to support safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (equiv. exp. considered).
• Five years of demonstrated geospatial or enterprise system experience.
• Three years of leadership of highly technical teams.
• Experience managing maintenance and evolution of enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Python, C#, REST APIs, and integration middleware.
• Knowledge of geospatial concepts and enterprise GIS architecture.

Responsabilités

• Directs GIS platform strategies, architecture design, security, upgrades, and DR/BC planning.
• Oversees GIS platforms: ArcGIS Enterprise/Online, geodatabases, and servers.
• Develops geospatial roadmap and budget aligned with IT strategy.
• Leads major GIS initiatives: upgrades, new systems, and integrations.
• Coordinates vendor selections, contracts, licenses, and subscriptions.
• Ensures data governance and data quality for facility records.
