Mountaineer Gas Company is seeking an Engineer to join the Engineering team at the Corporate office in Charleston, WV. This role focuses on managing hydraulic models, GIS data, and customer loads, ensuring models reflect actual system conditions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering, has experience with design models and ESRI/GIS tools, and is willing to travel with overnight stays. Join a leading WV gas utility with a strong service footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with design models, pipeline hydraulics, and pipe/equipment sizing/selection.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Word.
• Ability to travel with overnight stays as required.

Responsabilités

• Build/update hydraulic models to incorporate facility additions or changes and validate models using actual observations (pressure, flow).
• Conduct analyses or projects to improve modeling and hydraulic system planning.
• Review validated models with area engineering and local operations to ensure accuracy and buy-in.
• Perform Lost and Unaccounted For (LUAF) gas analysis.
