Job summary

Danfoss in Forest City, NC is seeking a Production Operator I for the 1st shift (6:30 am–3:00 pm, Mon–Fri) to operate production equipment and manufacture hydraulic hose under the supervision of the shift Manufacturing Supervisor.

You will perform stencil, inspect, finishing, mandrel prep and braid tasks, maintain a safe, clean 5S workplace, and support on-time delivery while meeting quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Must be local – no relocation offered.

Responsibilities

• Stencil & Inspect: Operates the stencil machine and inspects the hose for defects.
• Finishing (Cut/Coil & Eject/Test): Ejects mandrel, proof tests and cuts/coils hose for shipping.
• Mandrel Prep (Rubber & Grilon): Prepares mandrels for extrusion.
• Braid (Horizontal & Vertical): Operates braider machines to reinforce the hose.
